The project on Turquoise was rooted in an existing Spanish-style home that we wanted to further accentuate and refine. Because this was intended to be a quick turnaround project, every design decision needed to be impactful and intentional. From the tile selections to the landscape updates, we focused on creating maximum visual impact with a limited scope of work. One of the most costly improvements was installing a new deck, as the existing one was falling down. To keep costs down, we refinished the original cabinets, kept much of the original finished carpentry, and retained the existing windows. This approach allowed us to preserve character while elevating the overall look. The balance of thoughtful restraint and bold updates helped the home feel refreshed and cohesive. In the end, Turquoise became a strong example of how strategic changes can dramatically enhance a space.
